How much commission does Bluekea charge for photo sales?
Exactly zero. We do not charge any commission on sales.
What payment methods can I activate on my website?
We currently offer PayPal for payments with credit card or PayPal and Stripe for payments, without leaving your website when using a credit card. In both cases, you need to create a seller account in these systems, which is an easy process.
Additionally, you can enable sales via bank transfer, cash on delivery and payment upon delivery.
Do PayPal and Stripe charge a commission on sales?
Yes, like any other payment management system, both PayPal and Stripe charge a small commission for each sale. To know the exact fees at any given time, we advise you to consult their websites.
Can I sell my photos in digital format?
Yes. All plans allow for selling in both physical and digital format, in various sizes.
The Advanced and Premium plans also enable selling in digital format with automatic downloads, so that once the order is paid for, the buyer has links to download the photos in the selected size.
Does Bluekea take care of printing and sending the photos sold?
At the moment, we do not offer the service of selling photos in a physical format. You are responsible for processing the photos sold on your website and delivering them to your customer.
If you have an Advanced or Premium plan, you do have the option of selling in a digital format with an automatic download.
How do I receive the information about what I sell on my website?
You will receive an email indicating which photo(s) you have sold and in which format and size. You can also check the list of orders in your Bluekea dashboard.
Can I set different prices for the photos on my website?
Yes. You can create multiple price lists. Each list is made up of a series of formats (physical or digital) with their corresponding sizes and prices.
Once your lists are created, you can assign to each gallery its corresponding price list. You can also choose which galleries are for sale and which are not.
Will uploading high-resolution photos for sale affect the speed of my website?
When you upload a high-resolution photo, the website places the original image on a protected server, so it cannot be downloaded publicly in anyway. At the same time, a version in a normal resolution is created, which is the one displayed on the website.
The original version is only used when a sale is made to obtain the download file at the correct size. In this way, we protect the original photos and prevent their size from affecting your website's performance.
